EFF submits Amicus brief on behalf of Chan

Law Professor and First Amendment  Advocate Eugene Volokh and Professor Aaron H Caplan have submitted an Amicus brief on behalf of appellant Matthew Chan in the Chan v Ellis appeal, which is slated to go before the Georgia Supreme court this October.

The outcome of this case can and will affect bloggers, forum participants as well as forum moderators, and will have some sort of legal historical value, in terms of free speech on the internet. We are all optimistic that the judges of the Georgia Supreme Court will make the correct decision in this case.
